IRON MOUNTAIN — An organ concert of Advent and Christmas music will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.

The concert will feature guest artist Val Bartlein, playing the new Rodgers Inspire digital organ that was recently installed at the church.

Besides producing traditional pipe organ sounds, the Rodgers Inspire also offers a full array of live-sampled orchestral sounds, which Bartlein will showcase in his playing.

Mt. Olive invites the public to come and enjoy this wonderful, inspiring afternoon of historical organ favorites, creative arrangements of well-known Christmas melodies, as well as an opportunity to sing along on a few of the favorite Advent and Christmas hymns.

After the concert, which will run about 75 minutes, a potluck reception will be available in the church fellowship hall.
