Oktoberfest slated Sept. 27 in downtown Iron Mountain
IRON MOUNTAIN — Get ready to prost. The Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority will host its 11th annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The Bavarian-themed fall festival will run from noon to 10 p.m. at the downtown stage parking lot at the intersection of Iron Mountain and Hughitt Street in Iron Mountain. First National Bank & Trust returns as the 2025 signature sponsor.
The festivities kicks off with the local band, 141 North from noon to 2:30 p.m. The will perform a variety of country and rock hits.
At 3:15 p.m., Dorf Kapelle of Hortonville, Wis. will take the stage performing until 6:15 p.m.
They bring to life with spirited polkas, waltzes, marches and more.
Popular local band The Descendants will play a mix of classic rock from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, along with a bit of country, from 7 to 10 p.m.
The children’s area will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
The DDA has planned a wide variety of brews, along with three food vendors.
Admission is $10 and children 12 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the gate.
