Caspian Gifts from Santa raffle underway

CASPIAN — The Caspian Progressive Men, in conjunction with the Iron County Golden K, will again sell Gifts From Santa raffle tickets at $5 per ticket, as they have done for the past 25 years. The prizes are great again this year, with the vast majority of them $100 cash prizes, according to raffle organizers. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to provide the more than 200 residents of the Iron County Medical Care Facility, the Iron River Care Center and The Boyington House with a practical Christmas gift distributed during their annual Christmas party. IRON MOUNTAIN — The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 of Iron Mountain will host a monthly cribbage tournament Saturday, with games to start at 1 p.m. Cost is $20 a team, 25 cents for a 19 hand.
