IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is located between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture. A short business meeting and educational program, will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. IRON RIVER — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the J. Patrick White Conference Room of the West Iron District Library. The group will take a trip down Memory Lane watching a video, “A Millennium of Changes (Iron River, Stambaugh and Mineral Hills).” Five communities are in the vicinity of the Iron River.
