Crystal Falls Musicale planning Christmas Tea Scholarship Fundraiser

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls Musicale will have its annual Christmas Tea Scholarship Fundraiser at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Christ United Methodist Church. The program will include choral selections by the Musicale Chorus and will feature select students from both the middle and senior high Forest Park Schools bands. New this year will be a performance by Nordic Brass, a local group comprised of retired musicians and band directors. Winter clothing donations

The Clothing for Warmth project is a tradition of the Iron Mountain/Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The members donate handmade and purchased hats and mittens to Woodland Elementary in Kingsford and North Elementary School in Iron Mountain. They collected more than 100 items. This year’s project chairman is Angie DuBose.

IRON MOUNTAIN —The Dickinson Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will meet Thursday, Dec. 12, at Pine Grove Country Club for its Christmas party.
