IM-K Women’s Club set for Oct. 4

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford Women’s Club will have its monthly meeting at noon Friday, Oct. 4, at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain. Reservations from club members are due by Monday. They can be made by calling or texting social chairwoman Joyel Brule at 906-282-0650. MARSP to offer three mini-grants to area teachers

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will offer mini-grants to Dickinson County public school teachers in for the 2024-2025 school year. Three mini-grants of $250 are available. MARSP hopes the opportunity to apply for an additional $250 for classrooms will help staff to purchase equipment and materials. The recipients of the mini-grants will be chosen based on the project being academic in nature and impacting many students.
