New sign dedicated

Parishioners of St. Mary Catholic Church in Norway recently gathered for a special blessing and dedication ceremony, in honor of the new sign at the front entrance of church. The sign was dedicated in memory of Ernie and Eva Lardenoit and their daughter, JoAnne, lifelong members of the Norway area. The Rev. Timothy Ekaitis, pastor of St. Mary Church, performed the ceremony July 29 with a gathering of parishioners and members of the Lardenoit family. In the top photo, from left, in front are Connor LeBombard, grandson; Drew Stiffler, great-nephew; and Ryan Poetz, great-grandson. In the back row are the Rev. Tim Ekaitis; seminarian Michael Kovolesky; Roseann (Lardenoit) Poetz, daughter; Greg Poetz, son-in-law; Carol (Lardenoit) Kimichik, sister; Mike Stiffler, nephew; Kathy Stiffler, niece; Sheri (Lardenoit) LeBombard, daughter; Cody LeBombard, grandson; Fran McCarthy, son-in-law; and Marianne (Lardenoit) McCarthy, daughter. The parish expressed appreciation to the Lardenoit family for the generous donation of the sign, enhancing the beauty of St. Mary Church.
