FLORENCE, Wis. — The Paul Family Bluegrass band will perform a free concert at 6 p.m., Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 900 Central Ave., Florence.

The public is invited to attend this concert.

Originally from Florida, the Paul Family Bluegrass Band is a family of seven that operates a ten thousand tap, 260-acre maple syrup farm in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

As the snow melts and spring returns the Paul family load up into their 45-foot bus and travel the country as their primary focus turns again to music ministry. It is their heart’s desire to encourage America’s families through music.

Many of their songs feature a traditional bluegrass sound while others have been described as a “newgrass.”

The entire family is involved in their performances with vocals, guitars, bass, dobro, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin. “Whatever the song, the Pauls always feature a positive and encouraging message in a family-friendly setting,” said Jackie Lehto, event organizer.

“Bethlehem Lutheran Church is pleased to have a professional and seasoned band like the Pauls to provide an evening of music, entertainment and worship,” she adds.

While the event is a free concert, we will accept a love offering from the audience to help support the Paul’s endeavor.
