IXL museum’s annual Vintage Day on Sunday

HERMANSVILLE — The IXL Historical Museum in Hermansville will have its annual Vintage Day from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

This year’s celebration will include Neville guitars, vintage snowmobiles, ’50s clothing, trappers with their equipment and fur pelts, handmade wooden ware, a blacksmith and collections of vintage items from the community. New this year will be a “Guess the Gadget” contest.

Area residents are welcome to bring in and share their own vintage collections–clothing, tools, kitchen items, crockery and more. For more information, send an email to ixsecretary@gmail.com or call 906-498-2326.

Hot pasties, cold lemonade and water will be available for purchase. The annual cookie sale this year will include handmade cupcakes and will be in the little house, with handmade wooden wares for sale on the porch.

Jeff Neville will entertain at 2 p.m. Bring a lawn chair for spending the day with friends under the shady, tall maples at the IXL.
