FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Fair will host its second smear tournament Saturday, March 7, at the Florence Community Center.

This is a new date, with no tournament planned for March 21 as in the past.

Registration starts at 5 p.m., with the tournament to begin at 6 p.m. Entry fee is $10 per person for two-member teams.

The tournament will be a four-point smear game and prizes will be awarded for first to fifth places. Door prizes drawings will be done after the tournament.

A small luncheon will be available for purchase along with beverages and bake sale items. Chips and pretzels will be provided. No carry-ins are allowed.

All proceeds will go to support building and ground improvements at the fair park.
