Local Finnish American group cancels ‘Little Christmas’ event
IRON MOUNTAIN — Once again the Iron Mountain area Finnish American Raja Ryhma organization has canceled an annual event due to the pandemic situation.
The board of directors have decided not to host the Pikkujoulu, “Little Christmas,” party and dinner that usually takes place in December. They wish to extend Christmas greetings to all members and friends and are hopeful the group can resume celebrating their Finnish heritage together in 2021.
