MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress virtual caregiver support group will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday, June 8.

The caregiver support group is intended specifically for Upper Peninsula family caregivers, who often feel lonely, stressed, and overwhelmed with their role as a caregiver.

The support group provides a place for caregivers to share feelings, get social support, learn from others, discuss caregiving skills, learn about local resources, and talk confidentially with other family caregivers.

The group is facilitated by a moderator and meets virtually on the second Tuesday of each month.

A computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connection and an email address are needed to participate and registration is required.
