Niagara Lions Picnic and Fireworks Raffle tickets on sale

NIAGARA, Wis. — Lions Picnic and Fireworks raffle tickets for the June 25-26 Niagara Lions Picnic have gone on sale.

Twelve major prizes are available that have been donated through the support and generosity of local businesses and individuals.

Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. Drawings for these prizes will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Heights Park. Ticket holders need not have be present to win.

First prize is $500 cash, donated by mBank. Second prize is $400 cash, donated by Northwoods IGA and Lion Tim Potterville. Third prize is $300 cash, donated by Niagara Fabrication. Fourth prize, $250 cash, was donated by Tripp’s Tavern owners and Lions Bill and Tammy Tripp. Fifth prize of $200 cash was donated by Deane Systems and Lion Kim Schuster.

The Knights of Columbus 2847 donated the sixth prize of $200. Prizes of $100 each were donated by Big 10 Sports Bar, Nev’s North Star Bar, Pit Stop Bar & Grill and Ray Kuder of Best Buy Billiards. Prizes of $50 each were donated by Lions Scott Schwedersky and Missy Pontbriand of Scott’s Uptown Lanes and The Wild Horse Saloon.

In addition, hundreds of other prizes donated by local businesses will be given away both Friday and Saturday up to the time of the major prize drawings. Winners of these prizes will need to be present.

Proceeds go to offset picnic and fireworks expenses.

Raffle tickets are on sale at all Niagara taverns, including Nev’s North Star Bar, Tripp’s Tavern, Pit Stop Bar, The Bunker, Bob’s Country Bar, Scott’s Uptown Lanes, Forward Financial Credit Union, mBank in Niagara and Aurora, Best Buy Party Store, Northwoods IGA, and at Tom & Joe’s Liquor in Aurora and Big 10 Sports Bar in Quinnesec.
