NEWBERRY — The 906 Chapter of State Employee Retirees Association will have its first 2022 in-person luncheon meeting Monday, April 18, at Zellar’s in Newberry. Register and sign in will go on until 11:30 a.m., with lunch to follow at noon.

The 906 SERA represents all retirees from State of Michigan service in the Upper Peninsula and is part of a network of 18 chapters statewide advocating for retired workers.

All retired state workers are welcome to attend the session, which will feature state Rep. Sara Cambensy and a presentation on insurance coverages for retirees.

The cost of the luncheon and meeting will be $15 per person.
