IRON RIVER — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the J. Patrick White Conference Room at the West Iron District Library.

The group will view the lecture “Military Service and Homestead Records” from the DVD, “Discovering Your Roots: An Introduction to Genealogy.” Whether a veteran or just beginning a genealogical search this should be of great interest and very helpful.

Visitors are welcome. Meetings are open to all individuals and take place monthly in the J. Patrick White Conference Room of the West Iron District Library.
