CRYSTAL FALLS — The Blooze Brothers Band will return to the Crystal Theatre in Crystal Falls on Friday, July 25. The concert starst at 7 p.m.
The Chicago-based show band honors the music of Dan Aykroyd and John Beluski as the original Blues Brothers, more than 40 years since their debut.
“They perform with the same high energy and spirit that they played,” Crystal Theatre Managing Director Kristin Underhill said.
The choreographed 11-piece show band celebrates music from the 1940s through today — Motown, soul, rhythm and blues, classic rock, and swing.
For three decades, the Blooze Brothers Band has been one of Chicagoland’s most in-demand show bands and a favorite of Crystal Theatre patrons.
The group has played for major Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Kraft and Home Depot; major venues such as Soldier Field and the House of Blues; plus hundreds of festivals and social gatherings.
Recently, the band was featured on the NBC drama series “Chicago Fire.”
Two frontmen, Norm Boucher and Chuck Little, and vocalist Kimberly “Hot Sauce” Johnson join eight of Chicago’s finest musicians to delight Blues Brothers fans.
John Kattke, the band’s keyboardist, was recently inducted into The Chicago Blues Hall of Fame.
“Their 1974 Dodge Monaco Bloozemobile replica is gassed up and ready to head north for another encore performance at Crystal Theatre,” Underhill said.
Advanced tickets can be purchased online at thecrystaltheatre.org, by calling 906-875-3208 and in person weekday mornings at Stage Left.
