Benefit for Chloe Conery planned on Saturday
AMASA — A benefit for Chloe Conery, who was diagnosed with B cell leukemia in December, is planned from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Horseshoe Bar, 102 W. Pine St. in Amasa.
Local musician Melanie Rose will perform a variety of acoustic tunes from 3 to 6 p.m.
In addition to bake sale items and 50-50, they will serve a fish fry with a $10 donation.
They will also have T-shirts, sweatshirts and bracelets available for purchase.
Guest bartenders will donate all tips to the benefit fund.
The benefit will help with travel expenses and lost work time during the two-plus years of treatment.
