NIAGARA, Wis. — There will be community spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Niagara Elderly Services Mealsite, 569 Washington Ave, Niagara. Dinner includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, dinner roll and dessert, coffee, water or lemonade. Cost is $8. There will also be basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing. The event is a fundraiser for the Marinette County Elderly Services.
KINGFORD — The Dickinson County Community Chorus will begin its children’s chorus rehearsals for the annual Christmas Concert from 6:30 to 7 p.m. today at the Presbyterian Church in Kingsford. They will rehearse on Tuesdays through October and November in preparation for the annual DCCC Christmas Concert, set for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Students from kindergarten through sixth grade with excellent behavior, unchanged voices and the ability to sing in tune are eligible to participate. IRON MOUNTAIN — The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 of Iron Mountain will host a fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the hall. Customers will have a choice of walleye, three-piece cod, eight breaded shrimp or five-piece Alaskan walleye (pollock). The meals will also include fries or homemade chips, baked beans and cole slaw.
