CCW to host ‘Road Rally’ Oct. 10 in Iron River
IRON RIVER — The Community Christian Women group will host a “Road Rally” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, starting at the Windsor Center. “A Road Rally,” explained Sylvia Lindwall, CCW member, “is like a scavenger hunt on wheels.” At the Windsor Center, participants will be split up into teams and given a starting clue that will describe the location of the next checkpoint. Teams will carpool to each subsequent location, following clues to determine where to go. Each location will have a small gift and another clue. Free food distribution Thursday in Norway
NORWAY — Free food will be distributed to those experiencing food insecurity Thursday at the Crossroads Alliance church facility, 130 Odill Drive in Norway. Traffic will be directed to park in the Covenant Church lot for registration and to wait until distribution begins. Volunteers will conduct registration at each vehicle. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicle during the entire process to help ensure the health and safety of everyone.
