Florence library offers puzzles, coloring sheets

FLORENCE, Wis. — Celebrate the 250th birthday of the USA at the Florence Public Library by enjoying putting together American-themed puzzles or relaxing with coloring sheets of scenic places. Beginning Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to noon the library will have five 1,000-piece puzzles‚ including a unique wooden one‚ to put together. Also provided at the same time will be coloring sheets along with colored pencils for adults and crayons for children. The library invites all to come and meet other folks or bring a friend to have fun.

Norway museum hosts Music on the Farm Tuesday

NORWAY — The Jake Menghini Museum of Norway will present its annual Music on the Farm on Tuesday on the museum grounds, 105 Odill Drive in Norway. A strawberry sundae social will begin at 6 p.m., with a performance by the Norway City Band to follow at 7 p.m. The band is directed by state Sen. Ed McBroom. Donations are appreciated. Everyone is welcome to attend. The event was originally set for July 14 but was rescheduled due to the extreme heat.
