ESCANABA — Bay College has recognized the students who earned placement on the Dean’s List for the Winter 2026 semester in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement and commitment to excellence. To be selected for the dean’s list, a student must earn a 3.50 grade point average out of a possible 4.00 and must have completed six or more credit hours for the semester. Florence Parish sponsors Vacation Bible School

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence Parish will offer three days of onsite Vacation Bible School for children who will be entering first grade to the seventh grade from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, July 27- 29, at the First Presbyterian Church. Snacks and lunch will be provided. On Thursday, July 30, a school bus will transport them for a day at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp just west of Crystal Falls. Free community meal Sunday in Norway

NORWAY — Grace United Methodist Church of Norway will host a free community meal from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The menu will be brats on a bun, potato salad, baked beans and dessert. There is no charge for the dinner, but a donation basket will be available for those who want to make a contribution toward the meals.
