Dickinson County Library to have Caregiver Socials at three sites

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Library plans to host three Caregiver Socials for the community. They will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain; 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Solomonson Branch in Norway; and 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Felch Senior Center. DCCC to start rehearsals for annual holiday concert

KINGSFORD — The Dickinson County Community Chorus will begin rehearsing today for the upcoming “Sounds of Christmas” concert. Rehearsals will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford. There are no formal auditions, but prospective new members should possess some knowledge of choral singing. Those new to the group are asked to arrive early so vocal ranges can be checked.
