Northwoods Geology Club meets Wednesday
FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center — follow the Wisconsin Division of Motor Vehicles signs to the parking lot. All are welcome to attend and door prizes will be drawn at the end of the meeting. They currently don’t have a speaker, but will keep members updated with changes on the club's Facebook page. Stamp club to meet on Tuesday
IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. A short business meeting and educational program will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. Members are encouraged to bring up to five lots for the auction, and the club will also auction lots of recently acquired stamps.
