‘Armchair Airline’ on Friday in Iron River

NHS Softball breakfast fundraiser Sunday

NORWAY — The Norway High School varsity softball team will host a breakfast fundraiser Sunday at the American Legion Hall in Norway. The all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Menu will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, juice, milk and coffee. Cost is $10 per person; children age 6 and younger can eat for free. Proceeds go to benefit the NHS softball program.

Goodman Historical Society to meet on May 4

GOODMAN, Wis. — The Goodman Historical Society's first meeting for 2026 will be 6 p.m. on Monday, May 4, at the museum on Mill Street in Goodman. Everyone is welcome. The museum will open their doors for the summer on Memorial Day weekend and continue each weekend from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Labor Day. They will also be open by appointment if requested.
