Genealogical Society to meet Thursday in CF

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Harbour House Museum, 17 N. Fourth St. in Crystal Falls. NORWAY — Seniors at Norway High School were in procession as they marched in the Fine Arts Auditorium for the Recognition Day Program on May 20. Erin Berndt, senior class advisor, served as “Mistress of Ceremony.” She presented an inspirational address to the class and an explanation of awards. Florence County Historical Society to meet Tuesday

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Historical Society will have its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the museum, 201 Florence Ave. in Florence. The main agenda will be final plans for opening the museum June 13, which will honor area veterans. Members also are planning for upcoming Strawberry Social and Quilt Show, along with other summer activities.
