Annual Strawberry Social, Quilt Show on Saturday in Florence

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Historical Society will have its annual Strawberry Social and Quilt Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. They will offer strawberry shortcake and a beverage to enjoy on the patio and grounds of Maxsells, 209 Central Ave./U.S. 2. A new array of quilts and quilted items will be on display in the restored historic home. There is no charge to view the quilt show. Art and music festival Saturday in Wabeno

WABENO, Wis. — The 11th-annual WAM Fest — Wabeno Art and Music Fest — will take place Saturday at the band shell grounds in Wabeno. This free, family-friendly event features continuous live music beginning at 11 a.m., with headliner Bog Foot of Sugar Camp performing from 8 to 10 p.m. The festival also features food trucks, drinks, raffles, kids’ art activities, a student art show, area vendors and crafters, and pickleball lessons celebrating Wabeno’s new courts.
