Applications for new Michigan Humanities Initiative open

MARSHALL, Mich. — Michigan Humanities is now accepting applications for its new initiative, MI Museums. The MI Museums program is a three-year grant and training initiative designed for Michigan museums with an annual operating budget of $250,000 or less. It aims to bolster these museums' capacity through funding and training across three phases: stabilize, grow and thrive. ADRC of Florence County offers hikes for seniors

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County will offer a free hiking group open to active seniors older than 60. Participants do not have to be Florence County residents. These hikes will take place twice a month through October. Hikes will vary in terrain and length, with most ranging about 2 miles.
