Free community meal at Norway church Sunday

NORWAY — Grace United Methodist Church of Norway will host a free community meal from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The menu will be chicken casserole and vegetable with dessert. There is no charge for the dinner, but a donation basket will be available for those who want to make a contribution toward the meals. Reservations are requested for the meal, to be picked up at the church. Those planning to participate should call Chris Spense at 906-282-9752 by 4 p.m. Friday. Everyone is welcome to attend. Sagola church hosting fundraiser rummage sale

SAGOLA — Grace Church of Sagola will have a large, multi-family fundraiser rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Sale items will include a couch, stuffed chairs, wood rocker, small refrigerator, turkey fryer, linens and a large variety of household items.  The church is on the corner of M-95 and M-69 in Sagola.
