Free community meal on Sunday

NORWAY — Grace United Methodist Church of Norway will offer a free community meal from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The menu will include meatballs or meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy vegetable, dinner roll and dessert. There is no cost for the dinner; a donation basket will be available. The free meal will be available for takeout from the church parking lot. Reservations will be required by 5 p.m. Friday for the meal and can be made by calling Chris Spence at 906-282-9752. Come to Supper meal Monday in Florence

FLORENCE, Wis. — The First Presbyterian Church, 409 Lake Ave. in Florence, will host its monthly “Come to Supper” meal Monday. The free hot meal with a beverage and dessert will be served from 5 to 5:45 p.m. in the fellowship hall. All are welcome to enjoy a meal and fellowship. The committee notes that the elevator is temporarily out of order and they hope to have the problem corrected before the Monday’s dinner.
