Mobile Food Pantry to remain at Redemption Hill Church

KINGSFORD — The Feeding America West Michigan mobile food pantry, held at Redemption Hill Church in Kingsford in both November and December, will be hosted by Redemption Hill Church for all of 2025. It will not return to the Tri-City Cinemas in Quinnesec as was originally expected. The next date for the mobile food pantry is Wednesday. Food distribution starts at 10 a.m., with customer sign-in beginning at least one hour beforehand. This is a drive-thru food distribution. Redemption Hill Church is at 332 S. GAC Lions Club hosts Senior Christmas Dinner

The Goodman Armstrong Creek Lions Club hosted its annual Senior Christmas Dinner on Dec. 15 at the community center in Goodman, Wis. Many seniors came in and Santa delivered meals to those who could not. Included in the delivered meals were cookies donated by Debbie and Tim Thompson. The cookies were baked and beautifully hand-decorated by Barbie Maruszczak. The GAC Lions continue to honor the Lions Club motto: “We Serve.”
