In honor of National Superhero Day, American Transmission Co. provided the fixings to make about 600 sandwiches for local United Way organizations, writing notes of encouragement for the recipients. The sandwiches were delivered to: Alpha Omega Residential Rehabilitation Center, Caring House and Family Ties Adult Center in Iron Mountain; Menomonee River Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, Wis.; Salvation Army of Waukesha, Wis.; and Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin in Madison.
