Florence County sets road restrictions
FLORENCE – Florence County Highway Commissioner Joe Witynski has announced that the highway department will impose seasonal weight restrictions on all county trunk highways –N, B, C, D, U and NN — beginning today.
The seasonal weight restrictions are county highways only and are six tons per axle with a maximum of 18 tons gross. Town weight restrictions may vary from town to town.
The weight restrictions will remain in place until the frost has dissipated and the roads firm up.
