New manager named at the Pasty Oven in Quinnesec

QUINNESEC – Cindy Rugg-Sanders has been named the new manager at the Pasty Oven in Quinnesec.

She has 25 years of experience in restaurant/foodservice venues, including head cook at Eckenhoff’s for more than 10 years.

“We are pleased to be working with her and appreciate the appealing transformations and creativity she is bringing to the restaurant,” a spokesperson said.

Rugg-Sanders is working with an all new staff. Customers can look forward to tasting some of her menu changes along with the different sizes and flavors of pasties.

Homemade soups and bakery are served daily along with garden-fresh salads made to order and new sandwiches and wraps. Another new addition is Rugg-Sanders’s corn fritters that are served with honey butter and free with dine-in meals.

She has also made a few changes to the daily specials, adding more choices such as Chicago/coney dogs, pizza burgers, hot pizza and chicken wings.

Another addition to the menu that will be coming soon is a kid’s meal, she said.
