Stoker retiring from WUPPDR
HOUGHTON – After 35 years working for the Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region (WUPPDR), Kim Stoker, a resident of Chassell is set to retire on Aug. 31.
Stoker, joined WUPPDR in 1980, after earning a bachelor of science degree in forestry from Michigan Technological University.
A farewell party will be held at 5 p.m. Eastern time on Aug. 21 at the Magnusson Franklin Square Inn in Houghton .
All friends, coworkers and well-wishers are welcome to attend.
