QUINNESEC – The Thomas Theatre Group is partnering this holiday season with the Toys for Tots Program to collect new, unwrapped toys.

All toys collected will be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the communities in which Thomas Theatre Group serve.

Donation centers are set up at the Willow Creek Cinemas 8 in Escanaba, the Tri-City Cinemas 8 in Quinnesec, and the Marquette Cinemas.

All three locations will also be hosting a special Toys for Tots morning movie showing on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. For a $5 or higher valued toy, patrons will receive single admission to a special one-time showing of the 1939 classic, “Wizard of Oz” or the Christmas classic, “Elf” starring Will Ferrell. A minimum $5 cash donation may also be accepted for single admission if a toy is not presented.

Thomas Theatre’s primary goal in partnering with Toys for Tots is to deliver a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
