IRON MOUNTAIN — Scott Sanders has earned Farm Bureau Insurance’s Praesidium Award, reserved for agents who have provided more than $100 million in life insurance protection to Michigan families over the course of their career.

“Only a few of our agents achieve this prestigious award,” said Don Simon, Farm Bureau Insurance CEO. “It is special because it recognizes those individuals who have provided generations of protection to families and communities across Michigan.”

The year 2020 was another successful one for Sanders. He also secured several other companywide recognitions based on his production in various lines of insurance. He was a member of Farm Bureau’s Executive Club, Life Elite Club, the President’s Council and the Director’s Cup team for the Northern Partnership.

“This award is truly a reflection of my entire team,” Sanders said. “I want to thank James Cain, Ryan Pepin, Jeff Muraro, Tracy Rutter, Megan Milliron, and my wife, Shannon, for all their hard work.”

Sanders has been a Farm Bureau Insurance agent for 27 years. The Agency is at 1001 Carpenter Ave. in Iron Mountain.
