IRON MOUNTAIN — The Other Side Plant Shop has joined the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, which had a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate.

More than just a plant shop, The Other Side Plant Shop is a welcoming place for plant lovers of all experience levels, according to a news release from the chamber.

They specialize in rare and unique houseplants, along with a variety of soil blends, nutrients, pest sprays, pottery and small gifts. The shop also provides plant rehab services and features a free potting station for customers who purchase plants — making plant care both simple and fun.

Since opening June 10, co-owners Amy Bergman and Brytnee Linsmeyer Doda have been dedicated to helping their customers by making sure each one finds plants they love and providing tips to help them thrive at home.

In addition to in-store support, they offer local delivery to surrounding areas.

“I started this plant shop because it was my childhood dream,” Bergman said. “And Brytnee loves plants. We wanted to offer our community the opportunity to purchase beautiful plants at an affordable price. Every leaf has a story — let’s start yours.”

The shop is at 407 Carpenter Ave., Suite B, in downtown Iron Mountain. For more information, call 906-779-6132 or follow them online at www.facebook.com/TheOtherSidePlantShop.

Starting at $3.50/week.
