ESCANABA — More than 400 high school juniors and seniors from across the Upper Peninsula and Wisconsin participated in the annual Career Day @ Bay event.

During the event, students attended two or three faculty-led sessions to learn more about the college’s occupational programs.

Students participating in the Computer Information Systems sessions had the opportunity to practice their C++ coding skills by entering and trouble-shooting a short program. All CIS participants were also entered into a drawing.

This year’s drawing winner was Shaun Gogolewski from North Central Area Schools. Bay College CIS Instructors Cheryl Miller and Joyce King traveled to North Central Area High School to congratulate Shaun and visit briefly with members of the senior class.

For more information regarding Bay College CIS courses and/or programs, contact Joyce King at 906-217-4085 or Cheryl Miller at 906-217-4144.
