Fire department donation

Aspirus Iron River Hospital and the Aspirus Iron Area Health Foundation have donated to the Caspian-Gaastra Volunteer Fire Department toward the purchase of a portable gas monitor. The portable gas monitor allows first responders to remotely detect potentially harmful gas leaks in residential and commercial settings. “We’re thankful to our volunteer fire departments for the work they do to continue to keep our families safe and healthy,” said Aspirus Iron River CEO, Connie Koutouzos. “We’re also happy to be able to partner with the Aspirus Iron Area Health Foundation in this donation.” From left are Tom Mantsch, Caspian-Gaastra volunteer firefighter and EMT with Aspirus MedEvac; Connie Koutouzos, CEO of Aspirus Iron River Hospital; Peg James, Aspirus Iron Area Health Foundation Director; Glenn Dobson, CFO of Aspirus Iron River Hospital; and Ted Weeks, Caspian-Gaastra volunteer firefighter and Aspirus Iron River Respiratory Therapy Technician.
