Harvest Festival set for Saturday

AURORA, Wis. — Food, art and craft lovers are invited to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s ninth annual Woodland Kitchen’s Harvest Festival on Saturday.

This autumn celebration features local food artisans from the Woodland Kitchen as well as local arts crafts vendors. This year, event goers can enjoy a NWTC art exhibit along with live music in the café.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the NWTC Aurora Regional Learning Center, the former Hillcrest School at 2030 Calvary Drive. Admission is free.

“We are expecting more than 500 in attendance this year, the festival grows larger every year,” NWTC Regional Manager Sally Miller-DeCremer said. “It’s a great event and we love to see everyone who comes out to support our local businesses.”

The NWTC Woodland Kitchen and Business Incubator, provides support to aspiring entrepreneurs by providing licensed facilities and expertise to help them launch their business. Not only do they work with small scale food entrepreneurs, they also work with other people interested in opening a business.
