The reason they call it fall

Emika Anderson of Iron River and Missy Hermanson of Crystal Falls blow leaves out of the campsites at Pentoga Park in Crystal Falls. The rain and winds this week have accelerated trees losing their leaves in the region. Snow flurries were seen Thursday and this morning had a dusting of snow in northern Dickinson County. Tonight should bring a hard freeze, with an overnight low of 26 degrees predicted, according to the National Weather Service office in Marquette.
