Road project starts Monday
LANSING — Resurfacing starts on Monday on 9.3 miles of U.S. 2 from Vulcan in Dickinson County east to the Dickinson/Menominee county line.
The project includes asphalt cold milling and resurfacing, joint repairs, aggregate shoulders and pavement markings. The project includes a three-year materials and workmanship pavement warranty.
The work requires single-lane closures. One alternating lane will be open via traffic regulators. The Michigan Department of Transportation MDOT is investing $2.3 million in the project, which expected to be completed in October.
