Lori Feira, left, and Beth Sullivan, both of Kingsford, took advantage of the warm, sunny weather Sunday to try snowshoeing through City Park in Iron Mountain. The Iron Mountain area reached 53 degrees Sunday, after hitting 50 Saturday, according to staff at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Wastewater Treatment plant in Kingsford. But temperatures are headed back down later in the week, with highs in the 20s and single-digit lows, according to the National Weather Service office in Marquette.
