IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain man accused of selling methamphetamine in October pleaded guilty Tuesday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Jeremy Ray, 38, is charged with the delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Ray is charged as a two-time habitual offender and could serve as many as 30 years if convicted.

According to the criminal complaint, the KIND Drug Enforcement Team arrested Ray for selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant in Iron Mountain on Oct. 27.

Ray initially had been charged in two separate files with a total of two counts of delivery or manufacture of methamphetamine as a three-time habitual offender. But in exchange for his guilty plea, Dickinson County Prosecuting Attorney Lisa Richards agreed to dismiss one file and reduce the habitual offender notice.

Sentencing is set for April 20.
