Superintendent of G-AC district hired to head Pulaski schools
ALLISON SPACE
GOODMAN, Wis. — Allison Space, superintendent of the Goodman-Armstrong Creek School District, has been selected as the new superintendent of the Pulaski Community School District.
Space was an elementary principal for seven years and a third-grade teacher for 12 years in the Wabeno Area School District before moving in 2016 to the Goodman-Armstrong Creek district, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reported Monday.
The other finalists were Laurie Asher, superintendent of the Seymour Community School District, and David Bridenhagen, superintendent of the Shell Lake School District.
“It was a lengthy interview process and I’m coming from a very small school, but I think that the strengths that I’m bringing with me to Pulaski really match their philosophy,” Space told the Press-Gazette.
In April, Space led the successful effort to pass a Goodman-Armstrong Creek School District referendum to levy $750,000 for three years.
