CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP — A Bark River woman was killed Friday after a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 141 near the Kohon Road intersection in Crystal Falls Township.

Deputies were called to the crash at about 3:03 p.m. after 56-year-old Glorious Theresa Ross had driven over a guard rail and down a steep embankment, according to a news release from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office.

Ross was found dead inside the vehicle, which had rolled on its roof, the release stated.

The crash remains under investigation.

Deputies were assisted by Michigan State Troopers, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Iron County Search and Rescue, the Crystal Falls Fire Department and Aspirus EMS.
