IM man facing drug charge pleads not guilty

IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain man accused of selling an opioid derivative pleaded not guilty Friday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Kevin Dolatowski, 55, is charged in two separate files with the delivery or manufacture of the controlled substance buprenorphine, a felony punishable by up to seven years in prison.

Dolatowski waived arraignment and was not expected to appear in court. The pleas were entered on his behalf by Dickinson County Circuit Judge Christopher Ninomiya.

According to the criminal complaints, the KIND Drug Enforcement Team arrested Dolatowski for selling buprenorphine to a confidential informant Aug. 8 and Aug. 27 in Iron Mountain.

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for April 6. Bonds are set at $5,000 cash or surety.
