IR man pleads not guilty on assault charges

CRYSTAL FALLS — An Iron River man accused of physical and sexual assault waived his right to a preliminary examination and pleaded not guilty Monday in Iron County Trial Court.

Jeremy Larson, 39, is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison; assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation, a 10-year felony; interfering with electronic communications, a two-year penalty; and domestic violence, second offense, a one-year misdemeanor.

According to the criminal complaint, Larson physically and sexually assaulted a woman he had confined to an Iron River home over a 24-hour period Feb. 10.

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for April 6. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
