ESCANABA — Bay College has donated a total of 150 boxes of gloves, 15 boxes of N95 masks, and eight cases of gowns to OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group in Escanaba and Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain.

“We have excess classroom medical supplies now that our students have gone home and are learning remotely and virtually,” said Mitch Campbell, RN, the college’s dean of allied health. “This has allowed us to donate these extra supplies to our local, rural hospitals.”

The college is also looking to assist in providing any medical training needs to lay people that would benefit health care providers during this time of crisis, Campbell said.
