NORWAY — The Norway Police Department are investigating vandalism at Norway-Vulcan Area Schools’ Ronberg Field.

One or more persons attempted to kick open the doors of the press box and concessions stand at the field in Norway, Norway Police Department Chief James Shafer said.

The vandal or vandals also put a hole through the roof of the press box and did severe damage to entire structure, likely with stones, Shafer added.

Though not discovered until Saturday, the vandalism is thought to have occurred late Thursday or early Friday. Anyone with information on the incident should call Norway police at 906-563-5801.

Officers were assisted by troopers from the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post.
