HERMANSVILLE – An Independence Day parade will start at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Hermansville, after the Music in the Park event at Hermansville Park.

Line up will start at about 7 p.m. at the corner of IXL Drive and First Street.

Those who plan to participate in the parade should take County Road 388 to IXL Drive to get into the lineup.

The parade will be from IXL Drive down First Street to Main Street to Third Street to Park Avenue, ending back at IXL Drive.

There will be no registration, no judging and no prizes. No candy or other items should be distributed in any way.

Those with horses in the parade will need a pooper scooper following behind, organizers said.
